1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Valyoz application, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication in the application. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
2. Description of Service
Valyoz is a free grocery price comparison application. The service allows you to:
• Scan barcodes and compare prices across different banners.
• View weekly flyers and specials.
• Create optimized shopping lists.
• Receive alerts when a favorite product drops in price.
The service is provided free of charge, without targeted advertising and without selling personal data.
3. User Account
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting contact@valyoz.com. Deletion is carried out within 30 days.
• Valyoz reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in case of violation of these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Use the service for commercial purposes without written authorization.
• Extract, copy, or scrape application data in an automated manner.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or access unauthorized data.
• Use the service to distribute illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the service.
5. Intellectual Property
The Valyoz application, its interface, source code, price databases, and all associated content are the exclusive property of Valyoz. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is prohibited.
Grocery banner trademarks and logos displayed in the application belong to their respective owners.
6. Limitation of Liability
• Prices displayed in Valyoz are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or real-time updates.
• In-store prices may differ from those displayed in the application.
• Valyoz cannot be held responsible for any purchasing decision based on the information provided.
• The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
7. Service Modifications
Valyoz reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We strive to inform users of major changes via the application or by email.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account.
Valyoz may terminate your access to the service in case of:
• Violation of these terms.
• Abusive or fraudulent use of the service.
• Prolonged inactivity (more than 24 months).
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Quebec. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
